OSS future looks MUDDY!

The Ontario Sportsman Series is looking at changing the landscape on which it competes for 2009.  "We will be testing an OSS car on dirt this spring with the help of Kirk Hooker and McColl Racing.  As a series we are very interested in the idea of adding one or two events on dirt for next year" stated Series Director; Dave Connelly.

"Kirk Hooker and Mike McColl are going to make the necessary changes to one of our cars to get them to perform on a dirt track - from there Kirk will take it to the track and give us the kind of feedback necessary to make sure that all of our drivers have a head start on the type of set up they need to make a competitive and exciting event.  Kirk brings the experience of racing both on asphalt and on dirt and Mike McColl spent years at the beginning of his career working on dirt cars; we are very fortunate that Kirk and Mike are willing to take the time to help the OSS with this effort".   The test is expected to take place in May so that all OSS competitors will have the proper information on what is needed for testing during the 2008 season.

"We have had an overwhelming response from fans, drivers, and sponsors on the possibility of making this happen.  We think that this would certainly add an interesting element to anyone running for a championship in the Ontario Sportsman Series in 2009" says Dave Connelly.
