partners with the OSS
TORONTO, ONTARIO – Inside Track Motorsport News and the
‘Ontario Sportsman Series’ (OSS) are
pleased to announce that Inside Track is the new “Official Media
Sponsor” of the OSS.
It’s a multi-faceted agreement that will see the two organizations
working together in a variety of ways to promote each other, and
Canadian stock car racing, throughout 2008.
As part of the agreement, Inside Track contingency decals will
appear on all OSS cars throughout the eight-race Ontario Sportsman
Series schedule. In return, Inside Track will sponsor a $1,000.00
contingency program that will see cash awards go directly to the
racers following each event. The OSS will also receive prominent
coverage in every issue of Inside Track; Canada’s top motorsports
publication.
“It’s a natural fit for us to align ourselves with the OSS in
advance of their sophomore season,” said Inside Track Editor Greg
MacPherson. “We’ve covered many of the racers in this series for
years; before the OSS even came into existence. Our readers know all
about Steve Robblee, Mike Hryniuk, Bob Merrifield, Ron Lethbridge,
Ashley Taws and the other OSS stars and they want to follow their
careers. The OSS is riding a wave of growth and we’re proud to
give prominent coverage to the racers, teams, sponsors and tracks
that make up this exciting young series.”
Speaking on behalf of the OSS, Sales and Marketing Director Dave
Didero responded, “The Ontario Sportsman Series is made up of a
dedicated group of talented racers and crews and we’re proud of
the progress we’ve made in little more than a year together.
We’re confident that we have an excellent product and we’re
looking forward to working with Inside Track to put the excitement
of OSS racing in front of Canada’s most motivated and
knowledgeable motorsports fans. Simply put, our fans read Inside
Track because they are the leader in their field.”
